Sticky Miso Salmon Bowl Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Bowl:

  • Cooked rice or greens
  • Sliced cucumber, avocado, or edamame
  • Sesame seeds & green onions for garnish

Instructions:

Make the Glaze: Whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.

Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear salmon, skin-side down, for 3–4 minutes. Flip, brush generously with miso glaze, and cook another 2–3 minutes until caramelized.

Assemble the Bowl: Serve salmon over rice or greens. Add fresh veggies, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and drizzle any extra glaze on top.
