How to Make the Best Campfire Banana Treats
Ingredients
- Ripe bananas
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Trim most of the stem from each banana. Carefully slice the banana lengthwise without cutting through the peel on the opposite side.
- Gently pull the sides apart to create an opening. Fill each banana with as many mini marshmallows and chocolate chips as you can fit.
- Wrap each stuffed banana securely in aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped bananas directly on hot campfire coals, on a grill grate over the fire, or on a gas grill over medium heat.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the banana is soft and the marshmallows and chocolate chips have melted.
- Carefully open the foil and enjoy the warm banana directly from the peel with a spoon.
