Throughout October, both Oryana locations will be collecting donations for the Women’s Resource Center (WRC), whose mission is to protect, shelter, and empower people impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Donations help provide survivors living in shelter with warm meals, school snacks, and other basic needs, allowing them to focus on healing and moving forward.

Donation Truck — Saturday, October 17 | 10am–12pm
On the final day of the drive, WRC’s donation truck will be parked at Oryana Tenth Street. Bring your donations and help us fill the truck!

Most-requested items include:

• Soup and broth
• Cups with lids (kids and adults)
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Cake mix and frosting
• Aluminum foil and resealable bags
• Packaged school snacks and lunch supplies
• Rice and boxed crackers
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Coffee and coffee creamer
• Instant oatmeal packets
• Ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and pickles
• Liquid body wash and deodorant
• Diapers, especially sizes 5, 6, and 7
• Unscented baby wipes
• Diaper rash cream
• Baby wash and lotion
• Laundry detergent
• Paper towels
• Toilet paper

You can also purchase a $20 pre-packed food bag containing two cans of vegetables, two cans of fruit, a bag of rice, and a can of soup. For every bag donated, Oryana will match it with another donated bag.
