DONATION DRIVE: Women’s Resource Center
October 9 @ 8:00 am - October 17 @ 8:00 pm
In October, both Oryana locations will be hosting a donation drive for Women’s Resource Center (WRC.)
On the final day of the Donation Drive, Saturday, October 17, the Women’s Resource Center donation truck will be parked at Oryana. Together, we can help fill the truck with donations!
Women’s Resource Center’s mission is to protect, shelter, and empower people impacted by domestic and sexual violence. WRC states “your donations help us to empower survivors living in shelter, providing warm meals, school snacks, and other basic needs so that they can focus on their journey of healing in moving forward.”
While any donation is appreciated, WRC provided this list of the most requested items:
- Soup, broth
- Cups with lids (for kids and adults)
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Cake mix and frosting
- Tin foil
- Ziplock bags
- Packaged school snacks (lunch supplies)
- Rice
- Boxed crackers
- Peanut butter and Jelly
- Coffee and coffee creamers
- Instant oatmeal packs
- Ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles
- Liquid body wash and deodorant
- *Diapers (especially sizes 5,6, & 7)
- Unscented baby wipes
- Diaper rash cream
- Baby wash and lotion
- Laundry soap
- Paper towel
- Toilet paper
