Roasted Broccoli
1 bunch broccoli
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
sea salt to taste
optional: grated parmesan cheese
- Heat oven to 450°F. Cut off the broccoli stalks and save for another use. (Good peeled and cut up raw for crudite or grated for slaw.) Cut the broccoli heads into medium florets.
- Toss the broccoli with olive oil and sea salt on a large roasting pan. Spread out in a single layer.
- Roast for 15 minutes. Remove the broccoli from the oven, sprinkle with the Parmesan and return to oven for another 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
