Join Grand Traverse Bay WATERKEEPER® Heather Smith for a conversation about the Grand Traverse Bay watershed. Come learn about the beautiful cerulean waters of Northern Michigan that make our region so wonderful– Grand Traverse Bay and the lakes and streams that feed it. The Watershed Center will discuss the uniqueness of the Grand Traverse Bay watershed, provide an overview of water quality threats in the region, and discuss The Watershed Center’s work in protecting and restoring this regional gem. Attendees will learn about individual actions and behaviors, as well as volunteer opportunities, that protect our waters.
