Creamy Goat Cheese Butter
6 oz goat cheese, room temperature
4 oz butter, room temperature
Coarse salt
Optional:
2 tablespoons chives, chopped
fine zest from half a lemon
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Place goat cheese, butter and one of the optional seasonings in a bowl.
- Mash the butter and cheese together with a fork until well mixed. Add salt to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Bring to room temperature for 30 minutes prior to serving.
